What Psychic Clairvoyants Do
Clairvoyants are people who have the special ability to perceive events, objects, and other instances that are not easily detected by the five basic senses. Some clairvoyants have the ability to see the future or the past without any contact or exposure to it, while others can communicate with the spirits and even read thoughts. With these special abilities, clairvoyants quickly have an advantage over the rest of the population. Some clairvoyants hone their abilities to be able to help those who are in need. Depending on what abilities they have, clairvoyants can help in many ways.
Edgar Cayce, probably the most famous clairvoyant in history, was considered by many as a medical clairvoyant because he used his abilities to treat people. Most of his treatments were considered unorthodox during that time, but actually combined traditional and non-traditional procedures. Cayce diagnosed patients by going under trance and making use of his clairvoyant abilities.
Other clairvoyants also make use of their abilities to cast predictions for certain events and certain individuals. Cayce was also consulted by members of high society to predict events with a commercial slant. Cayce, however, declined doing these kinds of readings as he found that he wasn't as effective when helping out people who are in need.
Some clairvoyants claim to help people with problems regarding their personal lives. Clairvoyants who are more attuned to hearing voices from the spiritual realm claim to speak to the spirits of the departed. Séances were sessions conducted by clairaudient individuals, or people who hear with their “inner ear,” to deliver messages from spirits of the deceased.
