Remote Viewing Theories

The phenomena that is described as viewing or perceiving objects and events located at a different time and place without actually seeing or knowing about them is called remote viewing. Remote viewing is a very impressive feat that many ascribe to psychic powers. However, there's more to remote viewing than just seeing things that aren't immediately there.

The Remote Viewing Theory

The Defense Intelligence Agency, a US government agency that studied the occurrence of remote viewing for military use, came up with a theory that best explains what remote viewing is. The Remote Viewing Theory postulates that a matrix or grid where any type and kind of data about people, places, and events can be taken from through a supposed psychical “signal line” that can be accessed by remote viewing.

The Matrix or Grid

The movie The Matrix did its best to portray a very vivid picture of how the grid purportedly works on a different plane. People with remote viewing capabilities can just as easily access information through this grid that connects everyone and everything and contains all the data one might need.

The Signal Line

The signal line as discussed in the subject of remote viewing is the thread that lets remote viewers access the information on the grid. They say that everyone can have access to this signal line, but only a few have had success.

Gestalt

The Gestalt in remote viewing refers to the sum of all the factors that are present with the target. These are the things that a remote viewer should take into consideration when analyzing what he or she saw during the remote viewing.
