Other Terms for Remote Viewing
The ability to see or learn about things or events in a different location is actually one of the capabilities that clairvoyants and other gifted people have. One famous psychic, Ingo Swann, coined the term “coordinate or controlled remote viewing” for this ability of some individuals to perceive such instances without having any contact with any related factors. Swann used the term controlled because he believed that this ability can be induced and developed even by individuals who were “psychic as rocks.” However, though remote-viewing may be the most common term for this ability, this phenomena is broken down into more specific terms.
Coordinate remote viewing
Ingo Swann was actually adept at this kind of remote viewing and perpetuated the belief that remote viewing is a learned skill. All one needs to be able to access information in a given location is its coordinates or location in numbers. Gifted people can focus on a set of numbers then perceive details that describe the place, the person or issue involved, and even the time. Coordinate remote viewing can also work with a random set of numbers, not necessarily coordinates, in getting information about the location as well.
Extended remote viewing
Extended remote viewing takes the experience further. People who undergo ERVs go into trances or altered states of consciousness to be able to perceive data and information about their target.
Associative remote viewing
The type of remote viewing that deals with more than one possible outcome is called ARV or associative remote viewing. This remote viewing is termed such because of the process of ascribing or associating outcomes to certain images. This is used mainly for stocks and other events that involve quantitative outcomes.
