How Tarot Card Works

Tarot involves 78 cards that the reader lays out into any of the many spreads for tarot reading. A spread refers to the layout or arrangement of cards, wherein each position has an assigned category of meaning.

Each card has its own set of meanings and spiritual energy and truth. The significance of a particular card depends on its position in the spread. Tarot makes use of the power of synchronicity to get into one’s subconscious and superconscious to be able to come up with a card arrangement that depicts the “truth” about the subject of the reading.
