Remote viewers are individuals who are able to see or perceive certain objects and instances that happen in a location and time different from their present. People who are gifted with this ability can rely on their extrasensory perception in order to glimpse or see these events without seeing or even having any knowledge about these. There are different types of remote viewers, depending on the kind of remote viewing that they use.

Remote viewer vs. psychic

A psychic on the other hand, is also able to see events and people in time and places different from the present through extrasensory. However, psychics can do so much more than just see past, present and future events, and objects that are not within their present realm. Clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience are also exhibited by some psychics. Some people who have telekinetic abilities can also display remote viewing capabilities as well.

Psychic vs. clairvoyance

The term psychic is applied to people who exhibit paranormal abilities or capabilities borne out of extrasensory perceptions. However, the term remote-viewer may closely be more related to clairvoyant in terms of abilities, in the same manner that clairvoyants see the past, present, or future of events and people. The difference lies in the manner in which they get the information. Clairvoyants are able to see the past or the future through their extrasensory perceptions and are able to communicate with spirits of the dead and other similar entities, while remote viewers seem to have more attuned directional qualities.
