Accuracy of Dream Interpretation

The accuracy of dream interpretation may be questioned depending on the kind of dream interpretation being done. To some people, dream interpretation is a pseudoscience or a form of superstition that is just based on hearsay and not on scientific facts.

Another factor that could affect the accuracy of dream interpretation is the validity of the interpretation. For example, when using dream dictionaries, the interpretations are based on symbols that appear in the dream and interpreted from a list. The accuracy of these traditional dream dictionaries may be challenged due to the difference in meanings depending on the culture of the researcher and of the subjects.
